What's your experience with the Kasual App?

I recently started using the Kasual App, and I have mixed feelings about it. Some features seem great, but I’m struggling to figure out how everything works or if I’m missing something. Can anyone share their honest feedback or tips for better usage? Would love to know pros, cons, and if it’s worth using in the long run.

Okay, so here’s the thing with Kasual App—it’s like trying to put together IKEA furniture without instructions, but the box is full of cool pieces. I’ve been on it for a couple of weeks now, and you’re not alone in being a little confused. It’s got some decent features, sure, but it feels like clicking around blindfolded half the time. Did you try the onboarding tutorial? Because I swear it’s more of an “onboarding suggestion”—didn’t really explain squat.

One feature I will say kinda slaps is the, uh, what’s it called—Social Circles or something? Where you can group chats or interests. That’s low-key handy, but can we talk about how clunky adding people is? It’s like you need a degree in rocket science just to figure out who’s in the group already versus whom you’d like to invite. And don’t get me started on the UI. Why does every button feel like it’s hiding its true purpose? Is it to swipe? Press? Hold?? WHO KNOWS.

Also, is it just me, or is the performance super inconsistent? One day it’s smooth, the next it’s crashing like nobody’s business. Honestly, they need to pick a lane. If it’s meant to be like a casual social thing, they should maybe, IDK, focus on making that smoother instead of throwing in random weird features like customizable avatars (cute, but so unnecessary).

So yeah, my hot take: Potential’s there, but it’s buried under a pile of awkward navigation, half-baked ideas, and “am I the problem or is this app broken?” moments. Maybe I’ll stick with it longer, but feel like I’ve spent more time Googling “Kasual App how to…” than actually using it. Thoughts? Anyone else thinking this or am I dead wrong here??

Yeah, Kasual App is… something alright. It’s like they threw every trendy feature they could think of into one app and hoped it would magically work—spoiler: it doesn’t. I totally get where @sonhadordobosque is coming from; it’s chaotic. But, honestly, am I the only one who found the Social Circles thing more annoying than useful? Sure, grouping stuff seems cool in theory, but when half my time is spent trying to figure out the hierarchy of who’s in which group, it’s like… why bother?

And the buttons?? Oh my god, YES. Why do they all feel like guessing games? Sometimes I’m swiping, sometimes holding, and every once in a while, I press something, and BAM—open a random menu I wasn’t even looking for. It’s UI by roulette spin. Fun for no one.

But here’s my beef that no one seems to be talking about: the notifications. Holy spam. Every single thing triggers a notification, and you can either turn them ALL off or just hate your phone forever. No in-between. That’s like 101 beginner app design fail. Fix that before adding cutesy avatars, please.

That said, I don’t think the crashing is as bad as @sonhadordobosque made it out to be—at least not on my sad old phone. It’s meh but functional most days. The real issue? It’s just too much. Kasual App feels like it doesn’t know if it wants to be a social app, a productivity tool, or a toy to show off your aesthetic avatars. Pick a thing, any thing, and stick to it, maybe?

TL;DR—there’s potential buried in its mess, but it’s like sorting laundry blindfolded. Definitely not a “just works out of the box” type of experience. I’m giving it one more week tops before hitting uninstall, though. Anyone had a diff take?
