Need help with iOS app eTrueSports?

I’m having trouble with the iOS app eTrueSports. Not sure if it’s a specific bug or a compatibility issue, but I can’t seem to get it to function as expected. Can someone guide me on how to resolve this or share similar experiences?

Have you tried the classic “delete the app and reinstall” trick? Honestly, like 70% of iOS bugs can be solved this way, even though it’s kind of annoying. Make sure you’re running the latest version of iOS too, because some apps get funky if you’re behind on updates.

If that doesn’t work—what exactly isn’t functioning? Is it crashing, not loading certain data, or just acting glitchy? If it’s a login or syncing issue, double-check permissions. Go to your Settings > App permissions and see if eTrueSports is allowed access to things like WiFi, cellular data, or location (if it needs that).

Oh, and PLEASE check the App Store to make sure there aren’t millions of 1-star reviews complaining about the same issue. If there are, it’s not you—it’s them. Devs are probably slacking on troubleshooting. You might need to wait until they push out a fix.

Also, speaking of compatibility: if you’re running some ancient iPhone model or holding onto iOS 12 like it’s a collectors’ item, that might be the culprit. Apps aren’t optimized forever.

If none of this works, congrats—you’re the chosen one with a super specific bug. Screenshot the issue, email their support team, and brace yourself for the “Have you tried restarting your device?” emails.

Okay, first off, let’s not act like apps are supposed to ‘just work’ all the time. They don’t. Ever. Sometimes they flash their little bugs in your face like it’s a badge of honor. Here’s my low-effort attempt at helping:

  1. Kill the app (not literally) and restart your iPhone. Sometimes the app just needs a moment to get its life together.
  2. Check your storage. If your phone’s storage is hanging out near 0%, apps get cranky. Maybe clear out those memes you’ve been hoarding since 2019.
  3. Device compatibility: I know @codecrafter mentioned old iPhones, but have you checked if your iOS model even supports this thing? 'Cause like if you’re rocking an iPhone SE from the Cretaceous period, well… you know the problem.
  4. WiFi shenanigans: Does your connection suck? I’ve had apps straight up not work just because my WiFi was acting like it’s 1996 dial-up. Switch to cellular and see.

No offense to @codecrafter’s suggestion about reinstalling, but sometimes it does absolutely nothing. Most likely, the app devs shipped out an update they didn’t properly test. Could definitely be their bad if others are losing their minds over it too.

Oh, also, if you’ve got some ‘Exciting iOS Beta’ running for the thrill of early bugs, well, congrats—you found one! That’s your prize. Don’t expect fixes to come fast.

If none of this works, yep—fire off that support email. You can even request a refund if the app’s paid (which they’ll probably gracefully ignore). That patience you’re clinging on to? You’ll need it.
